Minimum internet speed to run online games?

Right now i only have 1.5mps. which i dont think is good. The best i could get is 5 mps. which of course is better. The ping rate is higher than what you can get on 15mb connection tested both and it is higher than what you shouldnt need to upgrade.

1.5 mbps is great speed. Essentially you have broadband cable. That’s plenty of speed to play Counter Strike or TF2.
